Question 1

What is Mirthledger?

Accepted Answer

Mirthledger is being built as a shared workspace for independent course creators. The current app centers on course operations: creating a course, organizing lesson materials, and publishing a public course page. Its wider direction is to connect that work with the business around it, including creator operations, tax organization, and business analytics. That broader layer is still in development.

Question 2

Who is Mirthledger for?

Accepted Answer

Mirthledger is designed for independent creators who teach online and sell courses, especially those managing course drafts, lesson files, publishing, and the business work around their teaching. Today, creator studio tools are limited to Mirthledger’s verified owner; self-serve creator access remains in development.

Question 3

Which creator revenue streams is Mirthledger designed to organize?

Accepted Answer

Course sales are the only creator revenue stream explicitly represented in the current public product: a published course can be purchased with a one-time payment. Mirthledger’s broader direction is to help organize the creator business around that work, but the current roadmap does not name additional revenue stream types or show them as available.

Question 4

How does course publishing work today?

Accepted Answer

In the current creator workflow, a course can be created as a draft, lesson materials can be added, and a public course page can then be published. Creator management is currently restricted to Mirthledger’s verified owner, while self-serve creator access is still in development. Visitors can browse courses that have been published in the public course catalog.

Question 5

How do buyers get access to a course?

Accepted Answer

A buyer opens a published course page, signs in or creates a free account, and completes the one-time purchase through hosted checkout. After payment is verified, Mirthledger saves the enrollment and unlocks the course’s private lesson materials for that learner.
